Financial Freedom Is Better Together.

Over the past few years, we've been noticing an interesting trend.

Many of the new clients who sit across from us aren't finding us through advertising, social media, or marketing campaigns.

They're being referred by their closest friends.

At first glance, that might seem like a reflection of the trust our clients place in us and whilst we believe that's certainly true, I think there's something deeper driving these conversations.

Our clients want their friends to experience the same financial freedom they're working towards themselves.

An Interesting Conversation We Hear Often

A conversation that comes up regularly with our clients goes something like this:

"We've been fortunate enough to get ourselves into a good position, but our friends keep telling us they’ve ‘never really had a plan for retirement’. We'd love to see them achieve the same confidence and financial freedom that we have."

It's rarely said out of comparison or competition.

Instead, it comes from a genuine place of care.

Clients tell us about friends who have accumulated multiple super funds and never consolidated them. Friends who are approaching retirement without a clear plan. Friends who have done a great job saving but aren't sure how to turn those savings into a sustainable retirement income.

Having experienced the benefits of a financial plan themselves, they want the people around them to have access to the same opportunities.

Financial Freedom Is More Enjoyable When It's Shared

One of the greatest compliments we receive is when a client introduces us to a friend.

Not because it helps grow our business, but because it highlights something important about our clients.

Most people don't want to enjoy financial freedom alone.

They want their friends to be able to retire comfortably.

They want their golfing partners to have the flexibility to play during the week.

They want their closest friends to be able to join them on the next overseas adventure.

They want the people they care about to have choices.

After all, retiring ten years before your closest friends may sound ideal in theory, but retirement becomes a lot more fun when the people around you also have the freedom to enjoy it.

More Than Just a Referral

When a client introduces a friend to us, we don't see it as a referral.

We see it as someone wanting the people they care about to have the same opportunities they've created for themselves.

That's incredibly rewarding.

Because while financial planning is about helping individuals achieve their goals, it's also about helping families and friendship groups build better futures.
